Archetyp Alpine Wine Map

Wine Map of the Alps

Limited Edition Fine Art Print
When we first tried to define the borders of Alpine wine we struggled to find a map that told the whole story. So we decided to create our own. Working with esteemed wine cartographer Ed Merritt of Merritt Cartography, we designed the first Wine Map of the Alps. It is available in a limited edition 24×36 format printed on weighty 19 mil textured fine art paper, suitable for framing, display, and wine education.

We Don’t Want Any Crap in Our Wine

The Women Behind the Bottle

By Camilla Gjerde

The natural wine movement has grown from being an outsider in the wine world to become trendy and sought-after. But it’s hard being a natural winegrower, so it’s a tough and risky life choice. And women are still outnumbered by men, even among natural winegrowers.

We Don’t Want Any Crap in Our Wine is the first book focusing solely on women producers of natural wine. It portraits 9 badass women and explores what drives natural wine producers to do what they do, to go on, despite being outsiders, despite the hardships and the risks.

Archetyp corkscrews

Coutale Sommelier Pocket Waiter’s Corkscrew

We’ve searched the world for the best wine bottle opener and found it in the south of France.

The Coutale Sommelier corkscrews are designed by Phillipe Bernède, winemaker and owner of the esteemed Clos la Coutale in Cahors, France. Increasingly frustrated with the poor-quality corkscrews available to open bottles efficiently at tastings, he set out to design his own. The result is this durable stainless steel frame accented with a natural wood handle, featuring a sharp micro-serrated knife,  a Teflon-coated worm, and Coutale Sommelier’s patented spring-loaded double lever, combining beautiful form with reliable function. Because this is what Archetyp uses daily, we make this available with our imprint.
